- design and implement control algorithms for handling and performance-related control strategies like traction and brake controls as well as torque vectoring controls
- iterate fast in early phase control systems prototyping using simulation, driving simulators and demonstrator cars for modern electric or hybrid vehicle architectures
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into overall race and sports production vehicle design
- conduct simulations and support simulator sessions as well as physical testing to validate system performance
- troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems
- stay updated with the latest advancements in vehicle dynamics and control systems, and prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate system performance and improvements
Aufgaben
Anforderungen
- hold a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- have experience in control systems design and implementation, preferably in the motorsport or high-performance automotive industry
- possess strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, control theory and signal processing
- have experience with realtime and rapid control prototyping environments, ideally from dSpace
- be proficient in using MATLAB/Simulink
- have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
